RespKit

CLI diagnostics

The CLI in cmd/respkit prints the version, checks the built-in catalogs, lists public error codes, and explains an error code. It runs locally and does not send application errors or configuration to a remote service.

go run ./cmd/respkit version
go run ./cmd/respkit doctor
go run ./cmd/respkit catalog
go run ./cmd/respkit explain RESOURCE_NOT_FOUND

In Go, use resp.Inspect(err) to retrieve classification metadata or resp.Explain(err) to get a human-readable summary. Metadata can include the mapper, source code, public code, and HTTP status.

Review diagnostic output before logging or sharing it. Error causes and metadata may contain application-specific information even though the CLI does not print raw error messages by default.
